[00:00:21] Speaker A: Hey, this is Lacey with Smartcast and I'm joined today with our good friend Abby from Hydrinity. And we just had a lunch alarm with our staff to go over the exciting new product launch of two brand new, innovative products from Hydrinity. And I'm so excited to have you here to talk to our listeners a little bit more about this new product launch. [00:00:42] Speaker B: Thank you so much for having me. I'm really excited to be here and so excited I was able to share our two new products, Prelude and Hydra, see with your team today. [00:00:49] Speaker A: I know. So I've been lucky enough to be able to evaluate these two products over the last week or so. And so far, my initial reaction is I love them both and I'm so excited to have them on our shelves and available for our patients. And like I told you during the lunch and learn, when I found out that one of the products was going to be a vitamin C cream, I was just kind of like, eh. But since I've been using it like I love it, I can't imagine it not being part of my regimen now. [00:01:21] Speaker B: Well, I completely understand, you know, when I, when any product comes out or anything, you know, we're all wondering, you know, how, how's it going to be different? What's it going to offer? And I really think, as with all the hydrone products, their delivery systems are really something incredible. And this new microfusion technology just really sets the prelude and the Hydra C apart from any other products. You know, they're just, they're kind of category creators, if you will. [00:01:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, like, if you think of cleanser in a skincare line, you're just kind of like, eh, it's a cleanser. It's gonna wash my makeup off, whatever. But this really is a treatment cleanser, right? So talk to me a little bit about the science behind what all this treatment cleanser is gonna be able to do for our patients and what they can really expect from this. [00:02:12] Speaker B: Well, we're, as I was saying, we're using our new microfusion technology. So this technology allows the molecule to go down deeper in the skin than any other product on the market. Approximately 140 microns is the depth that we measured in our clinicals. And this product, using this technology, or both of these products using this technology, are able to both go deeper into the skin and deliver results that, you know, deeper than any other product out there. So that microfusion technology, as I was saying, the molecule can go down deeper in the skin. That molecule is not just taking and delivering our wonderful ingredients, but that is also taking and extracting impurities and toxins from the skin. So you've got this molecule that's doing two different things is transmitting as well as extracting and, you know, I don't know, another cleanser on the market that's, you know, extracting things that we are not wanting in the skin, impurities and toxins, but also delivering ingredients that are treatments. [00:03:21] Speaker A: Yeah, no, you're absolutely right. And I think that it's so fascinating that it's able to neutralize the radiation. What is it? [00:03:35] Speaker B: The free radicals. [00:03:36] Speaker A: The free radicals in the skin. And detoxifying the. The skin is such a big deal for people right now. They are really wanting to lean into more of the biologics and more natural and getting rid of toxins and they're being more aware of the foods that they're eating and the ingredients in their skincare products. And so the fact that this skincare treatment cleanser is able to detoxify all of these harmful things out of their body and get rid of that is a huge added bonus. [00:04:08] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:04:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:09] Speaker B: I just feel like with, you know, these products, as I was saying, in our training, they're perfect bookends to any regimen because they play well with any other products out there. Obviously, they play well with hydrinity, but you can really set the foundation with our prelude cleanser. You're really removing toxins and impurities to set that stage for any of these other ingredients and the products you're putting on prior to it. You're setting that stage for them to receive them and use them to the best of your skin's ability. [00:04:43] Speaker A: Yeah, I think that these two products are really great for, like you said, adding into an existing regimen that they're already on or if it's someone that is just getting into skincare or they can only do two steps, they're getting a really great efficacious result with just these two products alone. [00:05:00] Speaker B: Absolutely. And they're really getting three products. And two because you're hydro C is your moisturizer as well as your vitamin C. So you know, it's a two in one. It's a hybrid product. Absolutely. Absolutely. [00:05:12] Speaker A: I like to eliminate steps if at all possible. So I think that that's a really great option for so many people. And I love that the Vitac is going to be lightweight, oil free, great for all skin types, all ages. Super easy application because of its pump. I love this. Got the twist top. So it's easy to travel with. [00:05:32] Speaker B: Yes. [00:05:32] Speaker A: You can just twist it up, twist it off. You don't have to worry about losing or breaking a top bonnet, which is really nice. I think that it's going to be even a great option for men. [00:05:44] Speaker B: Oh, absolutely. [00:05:45] Speaker A: Because they are, you know, they're kind of creatures of habit, but they also don't want a lot of steps because they can get overwhelmed really easily. And I think that this will be something that would be a great option for them to have a great active cleanser that's a treatment as well as the vitamin C with the moisturizer built into it, and then they're going to get a great result from that. [00:06:06] Speaker B: 100%. [00:06:07] Speaker A: Throw a little SPF on top during the day and they're good to go. [00:06:11] Speaker B: They're good for it. [00:06:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:12] Speaker B: Yeah, no, those are, it's a, like I said, it's easy, standalone, but it's, you know, something that you can very easily just slide right on the ends of any other routine, you know, or steps you may. I know there's certain steps that, you know, you, you couldn't pry out of my hands that, you know, and they're right in the middle. So I know those are sometimes the harder ones. And so if we're really just wanting to amp up those results, sliding these on the ends is just, I think it's like the perfect way to go. [00:06:42] Speaker A: Yeah, I agree. Most of my skincare routine right now is hydranity with the addition of some skin better. I love their clearing serum. [00:06:52] Speaker B: Yes. [00:06:53] Speaker A: So in the clearing serum and the Vitac are working wonderfully together. I've not had any problems at all. It works really well with my TNN, like the t and S that I use with my skincare regimen. I don't experience any pilling with my skincare products. I can use the flex or elastin, hydrotin or anything else on top of all of these layers, and I'm not having any issues with that. I have not experienced any breakouts. I haven't experienced any purging. I know that that's a big concern with a lot of people with vitamin C that have acne prone skin or get congestion really easily, as I do. And I have not had any issues with that whatsoever either, which is very promising because that if you do have acne prone skin, you're really typically nervous to use a vitamin C, especially vitamin C and moisturizer together, like you were saying earlier. [00:07:47] Speaker B: Yeah. The two words that, like the two together most, somebody saying a moisturizer or a vitamin C to somebody who's cystic acne prone. It, you know, made me want to go run hide under a rock. But I've got to say, you know, they told us that this would be for acne prone skin, and they. They were 100% spot on because I have not experienced any sort of sensitivity, irritability, any sort of breakouts or anything since I've been using a moisturizer and vitamin C all in one, which I never believed I would ever be saying or never even imagined, so certainly not either. [00:08:28] Speaker A: But I have to say, I really do like it a lot. It's a great, like, feel on my skin. It doesn't have an overwhelming smell at all. There's really not a smell to it at all. Now, the cleanser does have a really nice botanical, lightweight, natural scent. Right. But they're both very eloquent, and I enjoy using them, which I think is part of the biggest hurdle with a lot of people is just making them be excited about using the skincare products. And I really do get excited to do my skincare routine. I can't tell you how many times I'm in the car with my mom and we're coming back home from dinner or something. We're like, we just want to go home and wash our face and put our skincare products on and get in our pajamas and go to bed. But, like, that's just part of our routine that we enjoy doing, is our skin care routine. [00:09:20] Speaker B: I love hearing that. [00:09:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:22] Speaker B: And another thing about the cleanser is, you know, I'm a, I'm a double washer, double cleanser, because, as I was saying, I'm acne prone. This is the first cleanser I really felt. You know, and everybody might be different, but I felt that I didn't need that second cleanse. It's, you know, it removes the dirt, the oil, the makeup, the SPF, and then my skin also feels and is clean, you know, after that, leaving it. [00:09:49] Speaker A: Like, squeaky feeling dry or irritated tight. Yes. You still feel like you have a good little foundation before you even get to your skincare products. [00:10:00] Speaker B: Right. [00:10:01] Speaker A: So a lot of times we hear patients when they come in with a clean face, because we have them come in with a clean face, or they can wash their face here if they would like to. But they used to say, with some of the other cleansers, I don't know what all of them are using, but a lot of them will come in and be like, yes, my skin feels so tight. I can't wait to get my service so I can get some moisture on my. But they won't have that with this? [00:10:22] Speaker B: No, not at all. [00:10:23] Speaker A: Even if they did wash their face right before they came in and didn't put any other skincare products on, they're going to be perfectly fine until we do their service. [00:10:33] Speaker B: Absolutely. Another thing about the Hydro C was, you know, we're here in the south, so it's starting to get humid, and we get a little more moisture than some. And so that hydro c lays really nice and it's not overly moisturizing where anyone who is oily or acne prone would not want to wear it in the summer months. But also the people that are drier, it's enough for them. But it still, you know, lays nicely under makeup. And. [00:11:01] Speaker A: Yeah, because I still use my, my anti aging hygienity product as well. The ha. And I layer that with this as well. And I'm pretty, like, normal to oily skin. And it's not too much. I don't feel like I've got too many layers on. [00:11:21] Speaker B: It absorbs really nice. [00:11:21] Speaker A: It's really nice. So tell me about some of the key ingredients in the Hydra C and what makes it unique. I know you're explaining to the staff about the delivery technique and all of that. So tell me a little bit about what makes Hydra C so unique in its formulation. [00:11:40] Speaker B: Well, so our formulation is the, is one of the biggest things with our products. You know, we are, we source our ingredients from, you know, the best of the best, and we make sure that we're getting, you know, the best of the best ingredients so that we can use a little bit and get huge results. So, for example, the vitamin C, the reason most people are sensitive to vitamin C is usually not the vitamin C. It's just the amount that we're having to use to get those therapeutic benefits. So in our hydro C, we've got two forms of vitamin C. We've got THD, which is the most stable, and then we've got the kakadu plum. Which one kakadu plum, which is not very big, is equivalent to 100 oranges. So when you think about, you know, what you can get out of 100 oranges and what you can get out of a kakadu plum, and we only need a little bit of the kakadu plum where we're using. You know, like I said, 100 oranges are equivalent to one kakadu plum. We can really get results with a little bit of that ingredient and not have to overdo it and cause any sort of sensitization. [00:12:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:12:49] Speaker B: Another thing in the, in the hydrosy is the oils we use, sunflower seed oil, as well as jojoba oil. And so if anyone is acne prone or, you know, oily, they're gonna love that jojoba oil because it just mimics our sebum and it's light enough where it's not gonna clog any pores or anything, but it's gonna offer enough hydration where they don't overproduce oil. And the people who may under produce oil, they're gonna really love it because it's gonna be enough hydration and it's light enough that it really gets down in between, you know, on a cellular level or gets down between those cells to hydrate everything. Yeah, just creating. Yeah, right. [00:13:35] Speaker A: That's really, I love how we can take these natural ingredients that are found in our environment and create these incredible efficacious treatments. So tell me, too, about the. We were talking a little bit about how the Vita C is going to help with even pigment and discoloration in the skin. [00:13:59] Speaker B: Yeah. So we don't, you know, normally we aren't grabbing a vitamin C when we talk, when we talk about pigment, but our clinical results and even our before and afters, you can see where it was cleaning up pigment in the skin. So the vitamin C is, you know, helping get down and do something that we didn't really intend for it to do. But that's just an added benefit that you're getting from, you know, from your vitamin C. Yeah. [00:14:28] Speaker A: And then we were talking, too, about how it's reducing inflammation in the skin, so it's perfectly safe to use post procedure, whether that's microneedling, scarlet re two, anything like that. It's going to reduce that inflammation in the skin. So it's really good for people that even have eczema and acne prone and rosacea. [00:14:49] Speaker B: Right. Who, I mean, I haven't ever heard of a calming vitamin C, and that's another, another reason I've said they're category creators, because this is a calming vitamin C. It's going to help with inflammation and help to calm the redness and things like that with all the ingredients. [00:15:11] Speaker A: And how you guys are balancing out those ingredients and using things together that are going to have a different reaction versus using it with maybe some traditional ingredients that people have used in the past. And I love to see natural ingredients be in these formulations versus chemicals that you would see in other, you know, skincare lines that you don't know what that's going to cause down the road. You don't know how it's going to affect the body or the skin or the organs or any of those things, especially whenever you're using it every single day, twice a day, you want to make sure that you're using natural ingredients that are going to be healthy for you. Right. [00:15:53] Speaker B: That the things that our bodies are actually craving. [00:15:55] Speaker A: Right. [00:15:56] Speaker B: So that they can function properly. [00:15:58] Speaker A: All found in nature. [00:15:59] Speaker B: Exactly. It's all right here. We just got to source it. Right? [00:16:02] Speaker A: Yeah. And formulate it together to where those ingredients are playing well together. [00:16:06] Speaker B: Correct. And that's. That's another thing that I really love, is that both of these products will play well with any other product. There's nothing out there that it should or will, you know, cause any sort of irritation or any sort of adverse effect, you know, with that other product. [00:16:23] Speaker A: So I know we're not really talking about the hypochlorous acid today, but there have been some influencers on TikTok recently talking about hypochlorous acid, not necessarily hydrinities version of hypochlorous acid, but talking about how it can cause your other active ingredients to not be effective anymore or saying you have to spray it on and wait 30 minutes before you put on your active ingredients. Is there any truth to that or anything that you have heard or would like to add to? Like, set the record straight on hypochlorous acid? [00:17:03] Speaker B: Well, that's not really, you know, the case. However, you know, we always say, spray your mist and let it dry. And I know you've tried it and you've micronized, so it's very fine. And it doesn't take 30 minutes to dry. Probably like less than 30 seconds, would you say? So, like I said, we always tell everybody to any step you're let it dry before you come put anything else on it. So just having said that, going in line, I would always, you know, put it on, let it dry. But no, you aren't. You're not. You don't need to be worried about your hypochlorous acid, you know, messing with any ingredients or any products, especially if you're letting it dry. [00:17:49] Speaker A: You know, I haven't, I'm really not sure where it would have even come from them assuming that hypochlorous acid would make the other active ingredients ineffective. [00:18:03] Speaker B: So I think there's a lot of talk of just different things. Hypochlorous acid, all sorts of things that, or I've been hearing a lot interfering with retinol more so than anything. And I don't know if that's what they were referring to. I always say, you know, retinol is retinol is retinol. And we know that, you know, anything you can put with it or what, you know, it's just something you kind of want to play safe around. And if I'm, no matter what I'm using, I'm going to make sure whatever I put on before or after I've let it dry, before I put on my retinol, and then after, if I'm following up with anything, I'm going to let my retinol dry fully before I come behind it and put anything else. And that's just, with any line. So just safety measures and aesthetics. [00:18:49] Speaker A: Do you see hydrinity launching a retinol of any sort in the future? [00:18:55] Speaker B: I have no idea. I just know that everything we have is so gentle. That would be really cool to see because I know whatever they come out with, it's gonna be something gentle. I know they've got, they're really good with keeping secrets and so I do like that about them. But it does keep you on the seat, on the edge of your seat. And I know that they've got more that they're, that they're bringing to the table, but again, they keep tight lipped about it. [00:19:28] Speaker A: I know, because I try to get it out of you and I just can't. [00:19:33] Speaker B: You can't pull information out of somebody. [00:19:35] Speaker A: That doesn't know the answers. [00:19:37] Speaker B: They're very smart about what they're doing and when they launch and everything. And I've got to say I love the way they do it because they don't tell us about something. And then we've got this anticipation. They pleasantly surprise us reps as well, and they'll call us and let us know, like, hey, got new products coming out and like, we all get excited and, you know, a few weeks later we're at training and so it happened. It all happens quickly. And I really like that because we're all still really excited and everything about it when we get there and nobody can, can leak the secret. So it's always fun when we launch. [00:20:12] Speaker A: Yes, it is. And so I don't know that we have had you guys on since the launch of the face masks, so let's chat a little bit about the biocellulose mask. [00:20:25] Speaker B: And, you know, I'm not, I'm not a mask person because I'm, I've just, I'm always moving. It's hard to keep me sitting down for ten minutes, you know, but the biocellulose mask, it's my jam. It's my jam. I'm able to. I can't tell you how many masks I've used since we've launched it because, like I said, I'm not a mask person, but I'm all for this mask. I'm able to put it on, walk around, while I'm doing whatever I need, because it's not a sheet. It's, you know, it's that nice gel that sticks to your face and the. Not to mention the extra serum that's in that pouch. Oh, my gosh. [00:21:07] Speaker A: I feel like bathing it. [00:21:08] Speaker B: I pretty much did. I put it on the rest of my skin, and it immediately hydrated it. It immediately felt softer. And my thought was, you know, okay, well, after I shower, it may not feel as soft or as nice, but no joke, after I showered, my skin was still as soft as it was when I. Yeah. [00:21:27] Speaker A: So I recently took Amber and Taylor to Arizona for masterclass on the scarlet. And while we were there, Taylor was experiencing some, like, super dry, rashy skin, and she didn't really know what was going on, but I sent them both, like, I made them both a cute little, like, bag to go on the trip with some, like, travel size products, and I put a hydranity mask in each one of their bags as well. And so Taylor used the hydranity mask while we were there. And after she took the mask off, it was, like, night and day, how hydrated and luminous her skin was after that. And it just really calmed everything down. Whatever kind of, like, irritation was going on with her skin, it made such a big difference. And she was actually comfortable for the rest of the trip after that. [00:22:15] Speaker B: I love hearing that. Yeah. Packed some pretty potent results in a matter of minutes, because one of the reps, her husband, she put it on him. She was telling us that she had her eyebrows laminated or done the day before, so she couldn't. When they sent them out, she was like, I can't put it on because it would have messed him up. So she had her husband do it, and we actually have a before and after, and the lines in his forehead are so much more improved after the mask. I couldn't believe that, you know, that was. That was a result from a sheet or not a sheet mask, but a biocellulous mask. [00:22:52] Speaker A: It's crazy how much a difference that just hydration on your skin can really, truly make. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Right? Right. And all the ingredients that we use, like, even in the hydro, see, we've got aloe so you've got things in there that are really calming all together and really work against inflammation. And so I think that's just another thing that, you know, the brand has done really well besides our delivery systems, they just really keep conscious on skin barrier. Skin barrier and making, you know, even our cleanser is a treatment as well. So you're getting something more from it than just, you know, getting rid of. [00:23:31] Speaker A: The dirty washing your face. [00:23:33] Speaker B: No, we're not. [00:23:34] Speaker A: You're getting a treatment while also, right, like cleansing your skin too. [00:23:38] Speaker B: The St. Your momma's cleanser, you know, is different. [00:23:42] Speaker A: Well, technically it is my mom's. [00:23:45] Speaker B: Well, actually in this case it is. [00:23:48] Speaker A: Not many people have that same situation. But for me, I can say I will gladly take my mama's cleanser. [00:23:56] Speaker B: Yes, yes, absolutely, absolutely. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Well, I am so excited for the launch of this product. And like the girl said, when I asked them if they had any questions, their first question was when can we place a staff order? Because they are all super excited to add these products into their skincare regimen. We absolutely love partnering with hydrenity. We love partnering with you. I tell every other business that I come in contact with that if they don't already have hydranity that they need to bring it in. [00:24:29] Speaker B: We appreciate that more than you ever know. [00:24:31] Speaker A: We love the brand. We're so excited about the results that our patients see. We love the results that we see. It's just such an easy skincare line to educate our patients on because we love it ourselves. We're super passionate about it ourselves. I know that everything that you guys formulate is going to be just top notch. We have some of the best skincare partners in the industry and we're definitely proud to say that you guys are on that list. [00:25:03] Speaker B: Thank you so much. [00:25:04] Speaker A: Of course. [00:25:05] Speaker B: That means the world to us, me and hydrinity. [00:25:08] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, thank you so much for coming and feeding our staff the delicious sliced pizza. [00:25:15] Speaker B: Always. [00:25:16] Speaker A: You always bring the best food. We love it. [00:25:18] Speaker B: It's the Italian in me. I gotta feed y'all or y'all don't know. I love y'all. You know, we feel it. [00:25:23] Speaker A: We feel the love. And the girls love learning about hydrinity. They all are using the skincare line themselves. They love it. They sling this product like it is more than their job. It's their passion. So we appreciate you so much and we are so excited to bring these two new skincare skus into smart skin. So we should be having these available for purchase in the next week or so. How long do you think it'll take for it to come in? If we place the order today, we're. [00:25:53] Speaker B: Gonna see how fast we can get it here, aren't we? [00:25:55] Speaker A: See what kind of overnight shipping we can get. See what we can get. And you can also take advantage of our Mother's Day specials that are active now. We do have some skincare specials available. We have a by 200 for dollar 250 credit and skincare. And then we also have another special that purchase 450 worth of skincare and receive a free choice of cleanser or color science flux. [00:26:19] Speaker B: Ooh, I do love that color science flex too. [00:26:23] Speaker A: Me too. And it works really well on top of our hydronity skincare line. [00:26:28] Speaker B: Oh, it does. Because that's what I'm wearing. [00:26:30] Speaker A: I know. [00:26:31] Speaker B: Thank you for the recommendations on the. On the flex as well. [00:26:34] Speaker A: Yes. Color science is another brand that we partner with that we adore. They're fantastic as well, so. Well, thank you again, Abby. And we'll get across the street and take a look at our inventory and get this new Sku added into our order. [00:26:53] Speaker B: Thank you so much. Thanks for having me. [00:26:54] Speaker A: Of course. Thank you for joining us on today's episode of Smartcast. And we'll see you next week.
