[00:00:21] Speaker A: Hey, this is Lacey with Smartcast, and I have Gracie and Taylor with me today, and we're going to talk about the BTL bus tour that we do every single year. We just did it last year, and we just want to kind of go over a little bit of details about those fabulous treatments that we have to offer, as well as some of our Mother's Day specials that are available now. Thank you both for joining me today. [00:00:42] Speaker B: Yeah, excited to be here. [00:00:43] Speaker C: Exactly. [00:00:44] Speaker A: So Taylor and Gracie both were doing demos on the bus this year. This was both of your first times being able to offer demos here at Smartskin on the bus. What was your experience like? [00:00:54] Speaker B: It was a lot to grasp at first. I feel like it was super fast paced. I didn't really know what to expect since this was my first time, I'd kind of, for a second, I didn't know where everyone went, and then I realized everyone was on the bus. And so we kind of, like, took turns and kind of swapped out doing the demos. But it was really cool how they had the bus laid out. Like, there were, I guess, like three treatment rooms per se, I guess, yeah. That you could kind of experience. But it was really fun. It was, like, very positive. It was upbeat. You know, you got to learn more. [00:01:28] Speaker A: About the treatments, like speed dating, muscle stimulation. [00:01:30] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. It was really quick, but at least you got a sense of, like, what it feels like and the benefits and stuff like that. [00:01:38] Speaker A: Kind of like speed dating, muscle in your face, your core, and your floor. [00:01:45] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. It was really exciting. I feel like everybody was happy to be there with the big bus and like Taylor said, the different treatment rooms. Everybody had so many questions, and they. It was nice that they had the opportunity to try something that they probably wouldn't have tried just on a regular, you know, day. [00:02:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:03] Speaker A: I think that is such a great opportunity that BTL gives us as providers to be able to use it, not only as a marketing tool, because everyone gets so excited about just the idea of the bus being there and all the photo ops that we have with it, but then also the opportunity to be able to actually demo these treatments because the consumable cost on those are so high. It's hard to kind of do demos on a regular basis for these treatments, especially with the m face. So us having the opportunity to let patients experience what it feels like and what to expect if they were to invest in one of these packages for themselves is invaluable, and we just love the energy of the whole team. Like you said, everyone's very upbeat the whole team from BTL is just fantastic to work with. They had their marketing team there, which was really fun. So they got a lot of really cute videos of our team giving demos to our patients. And so it's just really an exciting and fun day. And so we just really enjoy any time that we get to have the bus come to smart skin and do these demos. I think this is probably our fourth or fifth event with them, so I'm so excited that they have this opportunity for us. [00:03:12] Speaker B: Yeah, it's fun. I think it brings, like, a real big, like, positive energy to it, and I think clients like to do things like this. You know, it's different. It's funny. So, yeah, I thought it was great. Yeah. [00:03:27] Speaker C: And they love the BTL merch, too. [00:03:28] Speaker A: Little bags. Doctor Jody had on her enscult neo sunglasses. Yesterday, we were like, those sunglasses are so cute. And then we realized it was the inscult neo sunglasses, and we were like, look at Doctor Jody representing her BTL glasses. I know she's excited after she has the baby. She's already got her whole little regimen planned out of what all she wants to do to get her post baby body back and her do her kegels with the, um, Sella. [00:03:55] Speaker C: I was about to say probably be. [00:03:57] Speaker B: Like, the first thing I'd want to do. Yes. [00:03:59] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah, she's, she's got her little list going, so she's excited. And I love that all of our injectors are so involved with everything that we have going on, too. And they were, you know, there we were doing ten dollar toxin all day long, too, which was a really fun surprise that we were able to do for our patients that day. And they were packed out. Yeah, they were so busy. [00:04:22] Speaker B: It was busy in general, I think, because we had already had scheduled clients to experience some of the machines on the bus, and then we had. So we had a lot of walk ins. [00:04:35] Speaker C: Have never been to smart skin before. Were like, what's going on here? [00:04:38] Speaker B: Doing treatments. [00:04:39] Speaker C: It was fun. [00:04:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:41] Speaker C: Getting to tell people. [00:04:42] Speaker A: We even had to finish up some demos afterwards. BTL was so sweet. They gave us some consumables to do on our devices, but because they had to move on to the next stop at our friends up the street at Renaud to do their bus tour, and so we were able to kind of finish out some of those patients that had been patiently waiting because we got to do demos on multiple devices, even if they were only scheduled specifically for one device. So everybody kind of got to experience all of the things and I love that they were able to check all of those out while we're here. So we do have some Mother's Day specials on most all of our services, but specifically on BTL. Which ones are y'all's favorite BTL specials that we've got going on right now? Gracie? [00:05:27] Speaker C: Personally, I think the M face is, like, kind of a no brainer. That one is really nice for clients who, you know, are apprehensive about injections. That's kind of how BTL has marketed. [00:05:40] Speaker A: And even to enhance and prolong their injectable results, too. And then we just launched the new submentum applicator that's going to be for the jowl area, like, underneath their. [00:05:50] Speaker C: That did really well during the day. [00:05:52] Speaker A: That's really exciting. A lot of our patients got to demo that area for the bus tour. We've been treating some patients for that, and they're all really happy. Plus, exciting news. We just launched our new facial analysis device, so we can do your before and after photos to show you those fantastic results from your in face treatments. So definitely make sure that you are letting our front desk know that you would like to get your skin analysis done, and we can kind of track your progress and do benchmark photos and show you some of the things that maybe you don't see on the surface of the skin that's underneath. And we can give you guidance on what treatment modalities we have available to treat those concerns. And then also send you a really cool report to show you some things that you can be doing on your own as well, just to work on some of those concerns that it's showing up on the report, too. So that's a really fun new thing that we have available at smart skin now, also. [00:06:53] Speaker C: Yeah, super exciting. I'm working on sleeping on my back. [00:06:57] Speaker A: That was the main tip. [00:06:58] Speaker C: It told me, hydrate. [00:07:02] Speaker A: It's cool. Cause it shows you, like, what your true skin age is. [00:07:06] Speaker B: Yeah, it was. [00:07:07] Speaker A: And so doctor Eason did her skin yesterday, and she, like, was in there picking apart her report that she got, and she was educating herself on the things that she could do to address some of the concerns that it showed her, too. [00:07:20] Speaker B: Yeah. It will tell you what to do also, like, it's like, you need to do this. [00:07:24] Speaker C: Vitamin C. Yeah. [00:07:26] Speaker B: You have to do this. Yeah, it's really funny. [00:07:28] Speaker C: It's helpful. [00:07:29] Speaker A: It is helpful. Well, what's crazy to me is my mom and Natasha both got, like, the youngest skin results out of, like, everybody, I think so. [00:07:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:07:39] Speaker A: So my mom was like, six years younger than her true age, and Natasha's was really close to that, too. And I was like, well, we see who has the most time on their. [00:07:47] Speaker B: Hands to address their skin concerns around here. The rest of us are working. Exactly. [00:07:53] Speaker A: I know. [00:07:54] Speaker B: I think I was, like, a year older. [00:07:55] Speaker C: I was like, oh, my God, I got 21, so. And I'm turning 23, so not to brag. [00:08:01] Speaker A: I'm joking. [00:08:02] Speaker C: I'm joking. [00:08:04] Speaker A: Mine said I was, like, two or three years younger. [00:08:06] Speaker C: There you go. [00:08:07] Speaker A: Than I am, so pretty satisfying. I'll keep working on it. [00:08:12] Speaker C: Always improving. [00:08:13] Speaker A: So, Taylor, what interest are your clients that you're hearing from? What are they most excited about with our Mother's day specials? What BTl services are they excited about? Tell me. Kind of some of the feedback that you're hearing from patients. [00:08:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I think, well, and I think with the help of the bus tour, you know, I had a client, and she got to come in and do the m face, and I think she was super excited about it because she got to experience it and then realized how great it was, and then she ended up getting a package of it. So it's really exciting for her. But I hear a lot of good talk about definitely m face. I think Emsculpt Neo has always been a great one that patients just kind of hop on, especially with summer coming up. You know, it's a great time to do one of those packages because you do them so quick, it can kind of get you ready when it does start to become bikini season. Yeah, but other than that, I feel like probably the nubitite. I hear a lot about the nubitite. A lot of people like that. I think so. Yeah, that's what I would say. Yeah, I agree. [00:09:30] Speaker C: I think the package that we're doing, they got it from my mama package is an amazing deal because it's a pick two, and the price of the pick two itself is cheaper than any of those treatments, and you're getting to pick two of them. So I think that's probably like a. [00:09:45] Speaker A: Buy one, get one free. [00:09:46] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. [00:09:47] Speaker B: Oh, and the one with the laser, is that the one with the laser genesis on it? [00:09:50] Speaker C: It has the skin pen e two sublative, sublime genesis and laser genesis and nubitite. So that's a great deal. [00:09:57] Speaker B: That's been a really good package. A lot of my acne clients, if I see anyone with any scarring or they struggle with breakouts, I definitely am recommending that to them, because they can do the skin pen for their scarring or if they're having a really bad breakout. They can do the laser genesis chef's kiss. And that one is so good. That one's a really. I don't know how y'all are doing that because that one's a really good discount. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, you have to do this while you have this. [00:10:19] Speaker A: I'm obsessed with the laser genesis. I was having a really bad breakout, like, at the beginning of last week, and I did a dermaplaning and messed up and accidentally paired it with hydrofacial instead of a diamond glow because I break out easily from dermaplaning anyways. But I did a diamond glow and a laser genesis and it literally cleared it up within a day. [00:10:42] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:10:43] Speaker A: I mean, laser shape, just magic for it. [00:10:47] Speaker B: Workouts and it's a comfortable treatment too. [00:10:49] Speaker C: It's, like, enjoyable. [00:10:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Speaking of breakouts, Skinmedica has launched their brand new acne system, which I'm so excited about. Our rep brought by our little care package today. My 13 year old is gonna be our guinea girl for it. I'm gonna take it home to her tonight and take some great before and after photos. She said that they're seeing a difference in the skin in as early as 24 hours post treatment. [00:11:15] Speaker B: Wow. [00:11:16] Speaker A: So it is a pore purifying cleanser and a pore purifying treatment. The treatment has 2% salicylic acid and niacinamide in it. And then there's also a pore purifying diamond glow serum. So she'll be here this weekend while I'm at work. And so we'll treat her with diamond glow with the new serum as well. So I'm really excited to see the results from that. But we did just place our order for that, so that will be available for purchase here in the next week or so. I know that anything that skin medica launches has been exhaustively researched and studied, and it probably took at least a year or more to even come out with the final formulation. So I have no doubt that it's going to be an amazing new addition to their already fantastic line of products. So I'm really excited for us to be able to launch that and really take care of our acne patients. It's great for scarring as well, she said. [00:12:12] Speaker B: Oh, nice. [00:12:13] Speaker A: So it's going to help with post inflammatory for hormonal breakouts, so it's going to be great for young teenagers as well as adult acne. [00:12:21] Speaker C: Exciting. [00:12:22] Speaker B: I think that'll probably be really good to pair with that bio gel by Neocutus. That would be a good combination. [00:12:28] Speaker A: Yeah. So speaking of neo cutus, let's chat a little bit about that. And then, just so you know, on our Mother's Day specials, we have two great specials. We have one that's by 200 for dollar, 250 in skincare. And then we also have, if you spend so much in skincare, you get either a flex or a cleanser of your choice. [00:12:51] Speaker B: Yes. [00:12:52] Speaker A: So they spend how much for that? 450 in skincare. And then they get that color science flex, which is my favorite of all time. Color science, which is sold out now thanks to TikTok's rise of color science. So you get to choose between the flux or a cleanser of your choice, which is wonderful because we don't always do skincare specials. So I'm really excited that we have a couple of things available for Mother's Day on our skincare. [00:13:22] Speaker C: People have been excited about that too. [00:13:24] Speaker A: So we had our first and a while clinical training on neo QTIs. Tell me your feedback on neo QTIs. What are products that you're really excited about? What did you learn new that you didn't know before? Taylor? [00:13:39] Speaker B: Yeah, so I would say I'm really excited about the Biogel that I mentioned. Obviously, I'm a person that still struggles with some breakouts, so that's definitely up my alley. And a lot of people, you know, continuously struggle with that. So I didn't know that it was kind of specifically formulated in a way to help with scarring and that pih. So I think that's really awesome. I think, you know, in the world of skincare, there are a lot of products you can choose from and that can help with certain things, but I feel like that one is really specifically dealing with that issue. So I think that's what kind of makes it different. And then I was really shocked to learn about the journey. [00:14:26] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:27] Speaker B: Is that a good question? Uh huh. I knew that we had had that one on the shelves, but I didn't know much about it. And so again, some people don't want a twelve step skincare routine. Obviously, I love that. I'm all for it, but not everyone is into that or has the time. And so journey is a really good option because it combines a lot of things into one. So it's an SPF, it has antioxidants, it has a little bit of coverage to it, it's got peptides and growth factors. Yep, yep. [00:15:00] Speaker A: So it's just kind of like I've said this before, but in my mind, it's like the solo for men, but this is for women. [00:15:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:07] Speaker A: So it's kind of like the everything all in one skincare treatment for women for people that, like you said, don't have the time for an extensive routine or they don't have the budget for an extensive routine. It's just kind of like a one and done, and it's got the best of the best of everything. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:23] Speaker A: All combined into this one super product. [00:15:26] Speaker B: I agree. And I think that that that product also, I feel like neo cute has kind of found a little niche in that as well because I feel like a lot of other brands don't have that product where it's all these things in one. So I think that that's really good for them and I think it's good for our clients as well to have some type of option for them. Yeah. [00:15:44] Speaker A: I love the history of neocetis as well and where they came from and their inception, they were originally used in pediatric burn units. So it's really proven that it's gonna help with elastin production as well as, you know, the healing and all of the scar treatment as well. [00:16:09] Speaker B: Yeah. And he made a good point that I think he was saying that a lot of their growth factors in their products will help not only your collagen, but your elastin also. And so I know there are probably some other products out there that just kind of focus on the collagen might not hit the elastin as well. So I think that that separates them too. [00:16:35] Speaker A: Yeah, well, I mean, and also addressing the correct collagen. [00:16:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:39] Speaker A: You know, that collagen three production and making sure that you're not just saying we help produce collagen, but making sure that it's actually helping the correct collagen production as well. [00:16:52] Speaker C: Right. [00:16:53] Speaker A: The Lumiere firm and Lumiere riche eye products are, like, literally cult following eye products. Everybody knows that that line, and that's really what neo cutis is known for, is their eye product. And it's just such a great option for anybody and everybody. It kind of hits on all levels. So it has caffeine. That's going to help with brightening and tightening the under eyes. It helps with dark circles. It helps with fine lines and wrinkles. It's going to help lift the upper eyelid. It just, it hits all of the marks when it comes to a wonderful eye cream. [00:17:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:17:33] Speaker A: So that one and the hydranity are my two favorite eye creams for sure. [00:17:37] Speaker B: I think that's probably a lot of. [00:17:39] Speaker C: I think everybody else. [00:17:40] Speaker B: A lot of us, we're using one of those too. [00:17:42] Speaker C: Yeah. I love the aftercare by neo cutis, especially with my. [00:17:48] Speaker A: You are an aftercare girly. [00:17:49] Speaker C: I love aftercare. But it was interesting, he told us that, like, you don't want to use that past two weeks or it can clog. [00:17:58] Speaker A: Yes. [00:17:58] Speaker C: Which was something I did learn. I mean, I wasn't using it for more than two weeks anyways. I just kind of spot treat after treatments. But I am a fan of aftercare and I got to try the hialysis. Hialis. [00:18:10] Speaker A: Hialis. [00:18:11] Speaker B: Yes. [00:18:11] Speaker A: The hydrating complex. [00:18:12] Speaker C: I really love that. [00:18:13] Speaker A: It's really nice and lightweight. It was still super hydrating and it's a great compliment. I think that that mixed in with the journey is a really great combination because it just gives a little bit of a lightweight moisturizer and thins out the journey a little bit. If it might be a little too. [00:18:30] Speaker C: Thick for some people, it helps draw your product in. [00:18:33] Speaker B: I love it. [00:18:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:34] Speaker C: Fan. [00:18:35] Speaker A: Yeah. And like you said about the aftercare, not using it, just kind of using it for the first couple of days until you're back at baseline and then discontinuing it and saving that product until your next treatment because it can occlude the skin because it's silicone based. And so while that silicone is protecting your skin, it also can occlude the pores and cause you to break out and purge. So just using that for that short period of time that you need while you're healing is important. That's why they also sell in such a small bottle. Yeah, because you just don't need. [00:19:05] Speaker C: I think it's a must have for anyone who does chemical peels. Micro needling. [00:19:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:19:11] Speaker C: It's like a little fire extinguisher. It is. [00:19:15] Speaker A: Neocutus also has a post procedure mask as well. That's really great. Hydrinity launched a post procedure mask. So we've got lots of great post procedure mask options. Skin pen has one as well. So anytime that you're having scarlet skin pen, any type of procedure that's going to cause inflammation in the skin, we can help point you in the right direction of which one of those post procedure masks would be the best fit for you. So your estheticians can definitely point you in the direction that you need to be in for your post procedure care. What else is new? [00:19:55] Speaker C: Guys, have you talked about tree alux? I'm sure we have. We've had that for a while. [00:20:01] Speaker B: Love it, loving it, loving it. [00:20:04] Speaker A: So do you have dry skin naturally, I would say. [00:20:07] Speaker C: Well, the facial analysis, what we talked about, the image pro said I had oily skin, but I feel like I have dry skin. I guess I have combination, you know, just depends on what time of the month. [00:20:19] Speaker B: Seasonally. [00:20:19] Speaker C: Seasonally, exactly. [00:20:20] Speaker A: Yeah. I like, typically, I'm like you. I kind of have oily skin, but I do like a trio Lux at nighttime. [00:20:27] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:20:28] Speaker A: So I'll use the trio during the day and then the trio Lux at night. [00:20:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:20:34] Speaker A: In addition to my other twelve step. [00:20:38] Speaker C: And then the barrier pro by color science, that cleanser has been doing so well. [00:20:43] Speaker B: I love it. It's a great line. That's a really great line. [00:20:46] Speaker C: Super solid. [00:20:47] Speaker A: Yes. [00:20:48] Speaker C: It's easy to recommend. [00:20:50] Speaker A: Everybody really likes the barrier pro cleanser and the moisturizer, too. It just feels really nice. [00:20:56] Speaker B: Yeah, it does. [00:20:57] Speaker C: Just calms you down. You can see your redness. [00:21:01] Speaker A: Minimize the barrier pro moisturizer, especially for compromised skin, rosacea active acne, anything like that, is a great fit for people like that, that want to protect their skin barrier, that want to make sure that they're reducing redness and inflammation in the skin. I have a friend who does a lot of pressure washing for his company, and he's dealing with water and bleach a lot. And so I got him on the hialis spray to protect his ph and his skin, and then he's also using the barrier pro moisturizer to protect his skin during the day. While he's doing all of that, he said that he could tell such a huge difference in the redness and inflammation in the skin. We're just not getting so irritated from all of that bleach. [00:21:44] Speaker B: Well, I think it's good, too, just because, like, some people, some clients want a moisturizer that feels thicker because we have moisturizers like the trio. Okay. Or. And I know they did come out with a trio luxe, which is really nice. Like, it is heavier than the trio, but I feel like sometimes they really just want to feel like they're really lathering their skin. And I actually like barrier pro for. [00:22:12] Speaker A: That a little bit. [00:22:13] Speaker B: You know, it's not something that's crazy heavy, but I think out of all the moisturizers that we have. Yes. [00:22:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel like the trio. Sorry. The barrier pro also has a feel kind of like the triple lipid did, where it's almost, like, crunchy when you put it on. [00:22:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:22:32] Speaker A: You know what I mean? Like, it's like a crust. Like a crunchy kind of, like, luxurious feel. [00:22:37] Speaker C: Yeah, it's nice. [00:22:39] Speaker A: And then the all calm and even up from color science as well. Those both pair well with the barrier pro, too, especially that the all calm serum, if they're working on redness and inflammation, too, using the serum first and then the barrier pro after that. And then if they need protection, they can use the all calm SPF 50, which is going to just kind of seal everything in, protect the skin from environmental defense as well. So I really like that. And then the even up for people that are dealing with pigment. Yeah. So and then we have, don't forget the rewards program with color science as well.
