[00:00:21] Speaker A: Hey, this is Lacey with Smartcast, and I'm joined today with Mary Margaret. And we're going to discuss a little bit about DermaPRP, which is the first autogalous volumizer available through our partners at AMP. Mary Margaret and my brother Sage and I went to the owner's summit in Arizona several months ago, and we had the opportunity to discuss this with several of the speakers. And so we're going to talk a little bit more about it today. Mary Margaret. [00:00:50] Speaker B: Hello, everyone. So we're excited to bring this to our practice. We've recently been just doing, like, the fillers ready sculptra, and so this will be a new league that we're going to be into, and a lot of people are looking for that undetectable, natural looking result. So this will be a perfect fit for that. [00:01:12] Speaker A: Yeah, we're really excited because this is going to be a product that we can layer with radius. So that radius is going to give that beautiful structure to the face, and then the Derma PRP is going to give that natural volume using your own PRP. So it's just going to be a little bit more of a natural result and no synthetic properties with the DermaPRP. So we're really excited that two of our three physicians are going to be traveling to Nashville this weekend to learn from talks. Josh and our friend Missy Gibbons, who we got to interview on the podcast when we were in Arizona. So I'm super excited to see them again. And then we're also going to demo a few devices while we're there. We recently did bring on their collagen pen, too, which is fantastic. We're really loving the results from that. We've upgraded our luminous pins to these new collagen pins, and our clients are loving that so far, too. [00:02:07] Speaker B: Yeah. And if you kind of rewind a little bit, I guess, when lip filler got really popular about, I don't know, it's been a long time, three or five years ago, a lot of people, they tend to lose that natural pink color. So the PRP being injected in the lips is going to be really awesome to see that natural looking results, because I feel like everything's changed a little bit over the past couple of years. People just don't want to look like they had anything done, and it's going to look really pretty. Yeah. [00:02:38] Speaker A: People are moving into more of the biologics and doing things that are a little bit more so in helping your body to produce these things naturally on their own versus injecting those synthetic products in it, too. And so another thing that's really great about the DermaPrP is that you can get full face correction with this. So it's going to be a really great option for tear troughs. It's going to be, like Mary Margaret said, beautiful in the lips. It's going to stimulate that natural blood flow. It's going to give you that really pretty, healthy skin while also giving you that youthful volume that you've been needing without having to look so bulky. It also is not going to be drawing in water, so it's just going to be a very soft, beautiful, natural product. So I get to be the model for both Dr. Irma and Dr. Jody this weekend. So we'll definitely be posting before and after photos. I'm really excited about that. And then I'm going to be taking a six month holiday from my toxins. And to help me get through that, we are going to be doing some injecting of radius hyperdilute to soften everything up and to give my skin some natural structure as well. And then after that, I'll do a high dose Xamin to get a longer lasting toxin result, too. [00:03:55] Speaker B: Well, that will be great to see. I thought you're about to be like, I'm taking a six month vacation. I was like, whoa, no, come back to me. Wow. Okay. That shocked me for like, a moment. [00:04:08] Speaker A: Success holiday from toxin. [00:04:10] Speaker B: Okay, good. [00:04:11] Speaker A: You have been taking quite the toxin holiday yourself, Miss ma'am. [00:04:15] Speaker B: I know it is a sober from all injections and procedures, but in fact. [00:04:24] Speaker A: When we were in Arizona for the owner summit is when I first realized that you were pregnant with your little second baby. [00:04:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:31] Speaker A: Even though you didn't want to admit it to me. [00:04:34] Speaker B: Well, sometimes you just don't know. But you had that feeling that you are and you just don't know until you take that test. But yeah, it was the heavy breathing for me. Heavy breathing, the flying, everything. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Having to step away in the middle. [00:04:49] Speaker B: Of all of the podcast to take. [00:04:51] Speaker A: A breath of fresh air outside. [00:04:53] Speaker B: It always happens on the trips that I found out I'm pregnant because the. [00:04:58] Speaker A: First time we were in mode and Chad deal was the speaker. [00:05:02] Speaker B: Yes. [00:05:02] Speaker A: And that's when we found out you were pregnant with your first little baby. [00:05:06] Speaker B: I know. I think I woke up that morning and I literally thought I had Covid, and I was like, oh, my gosh, I don't know how I'm going to make it at all. And then when I got home, I was like, oh, my gosh, I could be pregnant. So I told my husband to get a pregnancy test immediately, and I wasn't really happy, to be honest. I cried. [00:05:28] Speaker A: I think I cried on all three of my pregnancies, but it ended up. [00:05:31] Speaker B: Being, like, such a blessing in the end. So, yeah, just trips and pregnancies, that is the thing. So after your little vacation from toxins. [00:05:42] Speaker A: And fillers, which product are you most excited about getting back on with after you have this baby? [00:05:49] Speaker B: I'm definitely going to dip my toes in the ready east route of it. I thought it was really cool. Like, yesterday, we posted Gracie's before and after photos of redisse, and she just got a little bit in her cheeks and her chin, and someone dm'd us and was like, are you sure that's all she got done? Because her jawline looks like snatched. And I was like, no, that's really all we had done. And that's what I loved from last year when I just got ha filler just in my chin, in the back of my jaw, it just elongates and snatches everything. So sometimes when you put fillers or radius in different areas, it just does different things to your face, which looks like you got a lot more, but really, you don't need a lot. Yeah. [00:06:42] Speaker A: So we actually have been doing a clinical training on radius with a trainer from Merce yesterday and today. And so yesterday, Alexis got a little bit of radius in her chin and it looked beautiful. And then I did a mini BBL, and so they only did two syringes on each side of my booty, and that some subsision with that as well. And that was going to help with the skin quality from stretch marks from my first little baby, Bailey, who gave me stretch marks, and my other two children did not. But they were able to do just those few syringes, and it's going to make a big difference, especially doing the subscision with it as well. And then laying those lines of radius hyperdilute to help stimulate collagen and elastin. And then today they did my mom's arms. And so she's done some threading on her arms and now this as well. And so she's going to do this a few more times and it's really going to help with that creepiness in the skin and the laxity of the skin because she's lost some weight. And so this is just going to really help tighten that skin back up again. And we're going to layer that with some energy based treatments as well. So probably scarlet along with it yeah. [00:08:04] Speaker B: And that's a great combination. And a lot of people, I guess your mom has been on semiglutide and had really great results from that, too. So that's one of the things, is I actually saw a client this morning that was on it, and I was like, oh, my gosh, you look amazing. But there is those side effects that we're naturally fixing now with sculptra radies threading and those energies. [00:08:30] Speaker A: And the sculpt neo. Yeah. Has been a big game changer with people that are losing weight from semiglutide. We also did full face correction on Jennifer with radius yesterday, and she looked phenomenal. She was really nervous because obviously, no one wants to look overdone, but she's really happy with her results. She's got a very slim face, and so she just kind of wanted some structure and some youthfulness back to her skin. And today she looks fantastic. She's already beautiful anyways, but now she's even more beautiful. [00:09:02] Speaker B: Yeah, she has that athletic built to her. So putting that volume back in there just a little bit, it just looks really good. And so we'll be sharing those before and after pictures as well. [00:09:14] Speaker A: Definitely stay checking out our instagram for those before and after photos. Another really fun thing about the DermaPRP is that you can treat things that you would like to do that you normally wouldn't necessarily spend the extra money on. But with the DermaPRP, you get so much of the product that you can use. You can treat other areas like earlobes and hands and your neck and all kinds of areas that you would like to have that full correction with. So I think that that's going to be really fun, too, to be able to deliver those kinds of results for our patients. [00:09:47] Speaker B: And I wonder if one day they're going to start injecting exosomes, because before, we would just put PRP topically on the skin from microneedling or anything like that. And exosomes have taken such a leap, like sometimes in the room microneedling or those high energy based services. I love the exosomes. I see such a huge, immediate difference, and clients love that. And it's all plant based as well, which is really interesting and cool to see. Right. [00:10:19] Speaker A: Well, I mean, the exosomes that we have, too, are basically a vehicle. They're an envelope to deliver a specific result. And so with AMP, our partners that have the XoE, we're able to deliver derived specifically for hair growth, and the XoE specifically for anti inflammation. It only allows the kind of inflammation that you need for skin tightening and rejuvenation, but it eliminates the additional edema and swelling that's just going to be irritating to the skin and create a longer time for you to be able to heal from those treatments. So being able to do exosomes for these two things specifically are fantastic. And I know that we kind of, like, talked about it until we were blue in the face, but how excited we are for the exosomes that they're going to be launching for the brow and lash serum, that's going to be really fun. But just to see the opportunity of all of the things that they can do with exosomes and what area they want to treat with it, it's just like the sky's the limit with that. [00:11:22] Speaker B: That brow and lash serum is going to change their whole business, I feel like. And we just recently got the derived take home hair, the bigger ones that people can purchase. That's really good for the hair growth that they can combine with our nubitite laser and our ultrasound for that hair growth as well. So we are continuing to do that, and we do see a lot of patients for that as well, which is awesome. [00:11:49] Speaker A: Yeah, I have another fun couple of trips coming up as well. So we're going back to Kansas City. Our friends at lifted logic and Sam Patel with his consulting business as well, they have invited us to come and speak at their business owners conference. And this time I'm dragging my mom with me, and I'm making her speak with me as well, because sometimes it's hard to just talk to yourself for ten minutes, 15 minutes straight. So I'm bringing her with me to make her kind of tell the story of where we started and where we are now and some of the mistakes that we've learned along the way to all of these people that are starting up their own businesses, that are dermatologists and plastic surgeons, or they're just family medicine or whatever their background is that they're getting into the aesthetics world, hopefully, we can help them to not make some of the mistakes that we did. And it's definitely a passion of ours to be able to educate people and help them to learn and grow and to be successful in their own businesses as well. So we're really excited for the opportunity to go and speak at that. And always, we're learning so much information from those other physicians and know Sam and Adam as well. So that's always a really fun opportunity for us. And then in March, I'm going to Dallas to speak for Sinclair for their beauty boss conference. So I'm excited about that. I'll get to also kind of speak to the business side of things at that conference as well. So that's such a huge opportunity. I'm excited to be able to speak to those women, too. [00:13:29] Speaker B: And I think the american dream sounds easy a lot of times, but it's not. I was listening to the skinny confidential this morning, and the creator of it, cosmetics, the first billionaire to make her process and cosmetic line work. She said it took eight years of trial and error and trial and error, and it takes a lot of hard work, and a lot of people fail. And it's really good to share that with other people, like your wins, your losses. And so a lot of people are needing to hear that at these conferences, and that's where you come into play. And it's such an important role for you to share everything you and your mom have gone through to be such a success. Yeah. [00:14:23] Speaker A: Some of the most successful people out there had way more failures in the beginning than they ever had successes. And it's just about getting up and dusting yourself off and trying again. I mean, most of the things that we do in our practice today are because we had bought lessons along the way. We learned the hard way, and we had to figure out how to pivot and change our strategy and our course. And sometimes things would work for a long time until they wouldn't anymore, and then we would have to just change directions and figure out a new way to do it. There's been a lot of changes in the Alabama law this year for medical spas that are not owned by physicians. And so we've definitely had to make changes in regards to that so that we could always be the best of the best and have our t's crossed and our I's dotted and make sure that we're providing the best care for our patients and that we're creating the best possible work environment for our staff members and our team members and making sure that we do everything the right way. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I totally agree with everything you're saying. And just a caveat off of last week that Heather Goodchild came in from color science, we are bringing in the barrier pro cleanser. This is a awesome. You can use it morning and night, but really single cleanse. Single cleanse. It gets all your makeup off. Everything. I was shocked. And so I use it every night. That is a must. But you can use it in the morning, too. And then don't forget, you can take advantage of the Valentine's Day specials through the end of this month as well. [00:16:00] Speaker A: We also are going to be bringing in their barrier pro moisturizer as well. A lot of our girls that have eczema or a compromised skin barrier are loving this product. It is really restoring the health to their overall skin. Bailey uses it for her perioral dermatitis. She's using it as a spot treatment, but you can definitely use it all over. So it's definitely been a game changer as far as pre post and probiotic technology for the skin. And that skin barrier cleanser is also going to protect your skin barrier as well. So we're excited to be launching these two new products from color science who are partners of ours that we absolutely adore so much and loved having Heather on the podcast. She's fantastic as always. And I think that it's going to do really great. So I'm excited about having that. [00:16:56] Speaker B: Yeah. And don't sleep on the color science flex. It is now viral everywhere on the blooming technology. Yes. I'm so happy for them, but that is awesome as well. So take advantage of that. Yeah. [00:17:09] Speaker A: So look out for those Valentine's Day specials. We were going to end them on the 14th. And you know, my mom, she always likes to extend a good special. So Valentine's specials will be available through the end of this month. You can purchase those through our instagram, you can call or text the office, or you can stop by anytime. Thank you for joining us on today's episode of Smartcast, and we'll see you next week.
